Emily Davenport:

Welcome to Cultivating Curiosity where we get down and dirty with the experts on all the ways science and agriculture touch our lives, from what we eat to how we live. I'm Emily Davenport.

Jordan Powers:

And I'm Jordan Powers, and we're from the University of Georgia's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Hey, listeners. We are popping in ahead of the holiday weekend with a quick Cultivating Curiosity update for you. For those of you who have been with us a while, my colleague, friend and co-host, Emily Davenport, has accepted a wonderful position outside of the University of Georgia. She wanted to share a quick message with our listeners.

Emily Davenport:

Thank you to everyone who has listened and reviewed our show. I've really learned a lot as a host, and I've had a lot of fun sharing the stories of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Please continue to listen, rate and review our episodes, and I will do the same. Thanks, friends.

While I'm sad to say goodbye to such a great co-host, I'm thrilled for her new journey and excited to share that Emily Cabrera, our guest co-host from our episode with Dan Suiter and Orkin, has officially joined the show. Welcome, Em.

Emily Cabrera:

Hey everyone. I'm really excited to be joining this podcast.

Jordan Powers:

While I've spent my career in communications and storytelling across a variety of industries, from travel and tourism, art museums to public radio and now higher education and agriculture, I know I'm especially grateful for your background in agriculture with UGA Cooperative Extension, and what that expertise will bring to our interviews and for our listeners.

Emily Cabrera:

Yeah, I think with both of our inquisitive minds and different perspectives, our collaboration will help create fun, insightful episodes for our listeners.

Jordan Powers:

Absolutely. And as a reminder, our full bios are on the show homepage. And as Emily Davenport said, please continue finding, rating and reviewing episodes of Cultivating Curiosity wherever you get your podcasts. And as always, thanks for listening.
